MY 3 Ps

As an educator, students are at the heart of all I do.  My philosophy goes beyond teaching students

how to play the violin. It's so important to me that my students appreciate how the principles of music

apply to every aspect of life.

My 3 Ps are Passion, Patience and Perseverance.

Passion gives us limitless energy to go beyond our potential. Practicing in a room for hours on end

is not most people's idea of fun. It is passion that keeps you going after the perfect note for the

thousandth time.

Patience to work and wait for results. This is one important lesson I learnt from my dad, who

always says to me, "Do not worry about the outcome; keep sowing, and you will eventually

reap the harvest".

Perseverance is what gets you out of setbacks and gives you strength to carry on. The next step may

be the one that leads to success.

It is my greatest wish to pass on the lessons that have served me well, and to nurture in my students

the same passion and lifelong love of music that my dad and other teachers have inspired in me.

notes... This is artistry of the

highest level.
