On its 130th anniversary, Lee-Chin honored her
alma mater, Raffles Girls' School, by returning to
coach and perform with RGS students in
conjunction with the launch of her debut CD Songs
 
The sold-out concert at Singapore's Esplanade
Concert Hall raised $130,000 towards the
President's Challenge, and was graced by the 
  President of Singapore S.R. Nathan as the guest-of-
  honor.
Starting out 1905 as a small medical college, NUS has grown into a multi-campus, multi-
disciplinary University with over 186,000 alumni. It is today internationally acknowledged as a
global university of high standing.
In the fall semester of 2008, Lee-Chin was honored to be on sabbatical at the Yong Siew Toh
Conservatory of Music, NUS as a visiting artist. Her ties to NUS extend to 2000, when she
performed at a recital to thank donors and supporters of the NUS Endowment Fund.
EJAF provides funding for educational programs targeted at HIV/AIDS prevention, the
elimination of prejudice and discrimination against HIV/AIDS-affected individuals, and for
programs that provide services to people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS.
